Jury and awards

Pietro Liberati began writing about cinema at a young age. In 2004, he started working in the Italian film industry for distribution companies such as 01 Distribution, Buena Vista (currently Walt Disney S.M.P. Italia), Filmauro, and Eagle Pictures. In 2018, he managed foreign European film projects for a small independent label, bringing original language films to cinemas. In 2020, he founded Trent Film, a distribution company focused on independent cinema, introducing talents such as Hlynur Pálmason, Erige Sehiri, and Maha Haj to Italy.

Raffaella Pontarelli is a producer and film distributor. She holds a Master's degree in Languages and has worked as a production manager for documentaries and shorts. She gained experience at Raindance Film Festival, covering different roles including Senior Programmer and VOD Acquisition. Upon returning to Italy, she completed a course on Film Distribution Finance, Marketing & Sales organized by ANICA. In 2019, she joined Coccinelle Film Sales as international Acquisition & Sales, handling the sales of films such as Cat in the Wall (2019) by Mina Mileva and Vesela Kazakova. In July 2020, she founded her own production and world sales company called Amarena film.

Micol Roubini is an artist and film director who makes films, videos, and installations exhibited in Italy and abroad. Her research focuses on the relationships between man and landscape and on the way such relationships shape the idea of space. In 2019, her first feature film The Road to the Mountains premiered in competition at the 41st Cinéma du Réel and won the Corso Salani Prize at the Trieste Film Festival. She is the co-founder of L'Altauro, a production company of artworks and auteur cinema and documentaries. She writes film projects herself. In 2022, she won the 11th Italian Council competition with the installation "La montagna magica," in collaboration with Lo Schermo dell'arte.
